W.A.S.P.

W.A.S.P. is a pioneering metal band that was initially launched by the infamous Blackie Lawless in 1982. Notorious for their outrageous and wildly spectacular live performances, they have spawned a huge following of devoted fans that have influenced a generation of musicians in the heavy metal genre. As one of the most influential bands of all time, W.A.S.P. will be playing classic cuts from their roster of hits, such as "I Wanna Be Somebody", "Wild Child", "Blind in Texas" and "Animal (Fk Like a Beast)", as well as more recent material from 2015's studio release "Golgotha", a very different work to previous releases that continue to showcase the band's edge and evolution. A very special performance of 2017's "ReIdolized (The Soundtrack to the Crimson Idol)" will also take place, complete with a full symphony orchestra. The enigmatic and fascinating Blackie Lawless was famously offered a place in Mötley Crüe when they were still a totally unknown band - but he turned them down. The awe-inspiring live performances by W.A.S.P. are why they continue to tour to packed houses of metal fans all over the world.

KK's Priest

With former Judas Priest guitarist and co-founder KK Downing as the mastermind behind this new venture, it only seemed fitting to bring in another former Priest alum on board to take on the vocal duties. Formed in 2020, KK's Priest is currently promoting their second studio album, "The Sinner Rides Again" (2023), which will hopefully showcase more of Downing's metal prowess to audiences worldwide. With Downing's wealth of experience and songs like "Hellfire Thunderbolt," "Raise Your Fists," and "Metal Through and Through," under his belt from his time with the iconic metal band, Judas Priest (1980-1992, 1996-2003), it's clear that Downing will deliver a night of metal mastery to The Wiltern crowd. For his work with Priest, KK Downing was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for "Dissident Aggressor" in 2010.
