The Wiltern
Los Angeles, rumour has it that you’ve been hungry for some good ol’ rock and roll - something charting, something slightly retro, something spikey and rather unapologetic. Rumour has it that you’ve been absolutely rabid, and we’re with you on that one - we’ve been ravenous. We’ve also heard that ‘permission to land’ has been granted - and that they’re coming to feed us, spreading the rock and roll thick on our toast!
The rumours are all true, Los Angeles, so you better get ready to feed your face on all the music and mayhem you can stomach, because The Darkness is coming to The Wiltern on 12 November 2025 with their ‘Dreams On Toast’ Tour!
Tickets are priced from as low as $57 and are flying faster than Justin and Dan Hawkins’ fingers over fretboards, so hit that ‘Get Tickets’ button right now to scoop up your seats before they’re all gone and the only ticket you get is a ‘one way ticket to hell… and back’!
They were as high as Justin Hawkins’ falsetto voice on the charts when they first exploded onto the music scene in 2003 with their debut and breakout album, Permission To Land, featuring the face-melting singles I Believe in a Thing Called Love, Growing On Me, Get Your Hands off My Woman, and Love Is Only a Feeling. The album hit the platinum ranks four times, landing The Darkness no less than three Brit Awards, and nominations for a Mercury Prize and two Pop Factory Awards.
It’s just over two decades later, and The Darkness dropped their eighth, much anticipated studio album, Dreams On Toast, in March 2025. The question is: are they bringing the rock and roll rampage back? And the answer is - absolutely! The Darkness is slated to kick off the North American leg of the Dreams On Toast Tour in support of the album at the end of August 2025 in Pryor, Oklahoma, canvassing the nation, crossing the oceans, and nailing a few festival performances before wrapping up in November 2025 in Denver, Colorado. So far, Dreams On Toast has achieved the highest charting position of any of their albums since their smash hit debut album - and it’s only a few months old.
The Darkness: foot-stomping, guitar-wailing, face-melting rock and roll spread thick on your toast. It’s that music and mayhem you love about The Darkness - from the bouncy 70s pop vibe of The Longest Kiss and the hard rock feel of Rock & Roll Party Cowboy to the heartfelt balladry of Hot On My Tail and the swaggering anthems such as Mortal Dread and Walking Through Fire. It’s that very same head-spinning solos, energy, musical and physical acrobatics, and glam that caught you hook, line, and sinker when you first heard of The Darkness - just bigger, better, and braver than ever!
A better venue to experience the return of the rebellious retro rockers than The Wiltern still has to be built. The venue boasts seating for between 1,200 and 4,000 spread across a general admission pit, floor area, loge, and mezzanine with two rear bars to quench that thirst, top-notch sound and lighting, and some of the best amenities around. No matter where you choose to be seated, it’s guaranteed that your experience will be one for the books!
