Led by Charlie Rosen

Formed in 2017, The 8-Bit Big Band is an ensemble led by Charlie Rosen, a two-time Grammy and Tony Award-winning composer, arranger, musical director, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. With music performed and acclaimed around the world, his creative heart is the perfect match to these video game tunes. 

Taking legendary music and theme songs from these huge franchises and making them into something new & unique, their shows are standout choices in the world of live entertainment. Much of the world has heard and seen film-to-live concerts, but video game tunes? It's fresh and works perfectly well with orchestral notes.

Over the years, the ensemble has been recognized for their unique performances and outstanding renditions of video game hits. In 2022, their performance of "Meta Knight's Revenge" from Kirby Super Star won a Grammy Award for "Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella". With their performance of "Last Surprise" from Persona, the group received a nomination for r Best Arrangement, Instrumental and Vocals in 2024 in 2024.

8-Bit Madness

The craze is on. Teaming up with MGP Live, the band is able to bring these game-changing shows to many cities across the U.S. this year.
