Gear up for a wild ride of the best pop-punk and emo rock hits by two of the most iconic bands out there — SAY ANYTHING & MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK. Revealing that it’ll be their first time in fifteen years to hit the road together, both bands are extremely excited to kick off the joint tour this fall. Say Anything comes off fresh from their 2023 reunion and their newest album “...Is Committed” which came out last year. Motion City Soundtrack is all set to release their first album in ten years, “The Same Old Wasted Wonderful World.” Back with a new song “She Is Afraid,” it sure is an awesome time to be an emo & punk fan.

ABOUT SAY ANYTHING

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, you can expect Say Anything to go the hardest in their home turf. Formed in 2000 by Max Bemis and his friends, the band went full-force with two EPs and a full-length album within two years. Following a 2023 reunion which shook up the scene, the band released their ninth studio album “...Is Committed” in May 2024. It featured their comeback anthem “Psyche!”

Known for their literary sense of humor and epic catharsis in every track, their music is a heart-pounding blend of hardcore, indie rock, emo, and post punk energies. From 2007 through 2016, their albums charted within the top 40 of the Billboard 200 and the top 8 of the Alternative Albums chart. Their big hits include “Alive with the Glory of Love,” “Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too,” “Baby Girl, I'm a Blur,” “Hate Everyone,” “It's a Process,” and many more.

ABOUT MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK

The band was formed in 1997, right in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its current lineup is composed of Justin Pierre, Joshua Cain, Jesse Johnson, Matthew Taylor, and Tony Thaxton. Having sold hundreds of thousands of records, these rockers became best known for their pop-punk sound mixed with the Moog synthesizer. With records that ooze of power pop, pop rock, indie rock, and emo, it sure is clear how these fellas have rocked everyone’s hearts. 

As their first album in ten years, “The Same Old Wasted Wonderful World,” comes out this fall, the band is celebrating this new era on the road with Say Anything. Their new single “She Is Afraid” is a power pop anthem packed with heart and identity.
