It’s a good mythical new year! Rhett & Link are taking their popular YouTube talk show “Good Mythical Morning” on the road for the first time ever. They’re kicking off a North American tour this Spring and it includes a stop in Los Angeles, California! To all fans of the duo, this is your chance to catch them live on stage.
The comedians Rhett & Link are hitting The Wiltern on Tuesday, the 28th of May, 2024. This live show will feature some of the best fan-favorite segments, classic games, music and “mayhem,” plus appearances from very special guests! Rhett and Link grew up in North Carolina and met on the first day of first grade in detention (LOL) for writing profanities on their desks. At the time, their teacher sentenced them to paint pictures of animals. They began releasing comedic videos on YouTube in 2006. In the present, "Good Mythical Morning" has over 25 million YouTube subscribers. Celebrities that have appeared on their shows include Tom Hanks, Post Malone, Jack Black, Amy Schumer, Daniel Radcliffe, Megan Fox, John Boyega, Madison Beer, and the boy band NCT Dream.
“Good Mythical Morning” is now the longest-running talk show on YouTube with 11 whole years of laughs! This year, the founders, comedians, entrepreneurs, and lifelong friends are launching the Good Mythical Tour - bringing the talk show on tour for the first time. The duo will visit nine cities across the country and the first stop is right here in Los Angeles, California!
“We’ve been hosting ‘Good Mythical Morning’ for 12 years now, but it’s always been in 2D. We’ve been in 3D the whole time, but the audience has had to watch us and the Mythical Crew on a 2D screen. So we thought, why not bring our 3D selves to multiple 3D cities with big 3D audiences?” Rhett & Link said in a statement provided to Variety. “To be clear, Good Mythical Tour is an awesome, first-of-its-kind, live show version of ‘Good Mythical Morning,’ not a 3D movie. That may have been confusing.”
The live shows are said to feature fan-favorite "Good Mythical Morning" segments. There will be classic games, music, and "mayhem," as well as visits from "GMM" executive producer Stevie Wynne Levine, Mythical Kitchen chef Josh Scherer, and others. Fans "may even become part of the show themselves," the official statement suggested.
