Especially when Ólafur Arnalds is taking the stage and showing us what it means to feel music beyond just the sound - but really, really feel it in our soul. Wiltern, located right in the heart of Los Angeles and one of the city’s most iconic live music venues, is so excited to welcome Ólafur on Friday, November 13th, 2026. This is part of his highly anticipated 2026 North American tour, hitting a handful of select stops across the continent. He’ll be performing in New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Montreal, and more, bringing his euro experemitnal sound of classical strings, piano, and ethereal electronic textures to all of us here in L.A. who like pop and rock and roll just... a little too much, we're ready to transcend into the exlectic - and we hope you are too! Maybe you’ve never heard the name, but you’ve felt his music. Born in Mosfellsbær, Iceland, Ólafur started on piano as a child, but it wasn’t long before he began experimenting - blending classical composition with loops and new age electronica, Olafur's music sits somewhere between James Blake experiemtnal DJ sets and a 430 HZ bell you may find on Youtube when trying to meditate.  His debut works, like Eulogy for Evolution, immediately set him apart from his contemporries, proving he could take the mundane and make it magical, adding landscapes to the things we see as normal to life. Over the years, he’s released albums like For Now I Am Winter, Island Songs, and other top hits on the electro-euro-experiemtnal charts. Pushing what it means for us to "feel" music, and stepping our of those boundaries sometimes too. He’s scored for film and TV, collaborated with artists around the world, and built a reputation for performances that are intimate, mesmerizing, and cinematic all at once. Each time he is on the beat or proudcing for someone else's project : you can tell everu note matters to the sonic journey of the song, and that he is dedicated to making us unforgettable, once in a lifetime moments on the stage. For his next show - expect all that times ten, and THAT folks is why you can’t miss this show when he comes here in mid Nov.
