Following sold-out runs in arenas and major venues in her homebase Japan, the “Japanese Beyoncé” is all set to share her live sets that feature hilarious sketch comedy, stand-up routines, and amusing impersonations. Uniquely herself, the iconic comedian, actress, and fashion designer is bound to share endless nights of joy, positivity, and laughs as she travels across the world.

NAOMI’S COLORFUL RISE TO FAME

Watanabe rose to fame back in ‘08 when she imitated Beyoncé singing “Dreamgirls” and “Crazy in Love” — earning her the title as “the Japanese Beyoncé.” Doing tons of impersonations of popular artists in Japanese culture, millions of fans have come around showing great appreciation and joy for her amusing work. She also played the role of Mabel in “Fame” and as Tracy Turnblad in “Hairspray.” Gaining recognition as an artist for musicals, Watanabe was also featured as a guest on Ai's single “Kira Kira” which was the opening theme song for the “Kanna-san!” Japanese drama—where she was the lead actress. The track was nominated for a Grand Prix Award at the Japan Record Awards. In 2022, she was also featured on a remix of Doja Cat's hit single “Kiss Me More.” Through it all, Naomi has won millions of hearts around the globe, with over 10.1 million followers on Instagram, and her content just keeps on pushing hard, people bursting into laughs as she drops by their feed.
