Javier Rosas is a prolific Sinoaloan music artist known for infusing accordions and guitarron in his brand of Norteño staples. Born in Sinaloa, Mexico, the tenor vocalist pursued music at the age of 19. Rosas learned to play guitar through his father and began writing music at a very young age. He also performed in various local festivals. When he became an adult, Rosas moved to Mexico City to further pursue his music exploits.

In 2014, he released his debut album, Llegue Para Quedarme, via the music label, Fonovisa. The record quickly gained traction in Mexico aY Su Artilleria Pesadand beyond. The record was later certified gold in Mexico due to its numerous hit singles. One year later, Rosas dropped Otro Golpe, a 13-track album featuring songs written by Rosas, Omar Guiterrez Gilbran Rosas, Aaron Martinez, and more. The album notably spawned the hit single “En La Sierra Y En La Ciudad.” The song remains one of his most popular tracks and has clocked in over 45 million streams on Spotify.

Two years later, Rosas dropped Hecho en Mexico (Made in Mexico). The album contains 14 critically-acclaimed tracks, including “Si Te Estoy Rogando” and “Lo Siento.” The following year, Rosas gained the attention of major record labels. His 2018 effort La Ley De la Selva, struck a distribution deal with Universal Music Group. The album spawned two of his most popular singles, “Vivir Para Contario” and “Bienvenidos A Jalisco.”

Rosas also released a record with Universal Music Group. The album titled Las Retros Chingonas featured Javier Rosas Y Su Artilleria Pesada (Javier Rosas and his Heavy Artillery). Since then, the band has consistently been performing with Rosas in studio albums and live performances. Two years later, Rosas dropped his second live, Mas Vivo que en vivo vol. 1. The album served as a follow-up to Mas Vivo que en vivo vol 2.

This 2023, Rosas will be dropping his latest album, Hombre de Ley. The album has already been preceded by its lead single, “Denver Reulteamos.” The track had already amassed over 100 million streams on various platforms, including 39 million on Youtube and 60 million on Spotify.
