Known to create unique and standout Latin pop and contemporary R&B beats, Humble’s new record embraces change as he attempts to comfort anxieties and look for inspiration from the mountains of Iceland, where the sun doesn’t set in summer. 

“I envision this album as this planet of ashes. So, I wanted to go into that state, be lonely and create the inner dialogue heard on the album,” he shared with Los Angeles Times. 

Making reggaeton — a move that his listeners didn’t expect him to do, Dueño del Cielo finds Humbe at his best headspace yet. 

“DUEÑO DEL CIELO is a commitment to feeling and living in the present, an invitation to observe everything and hold nothing back,” The Walk wrote in a feature article & interview about Humbe’s new masterpiece.

With new anthems that highlight his experimentation, it all comes to the surface as you listen to REM II, MAGIA NEGRA, VEGAS, and more of his new tracks on the album. Showcasing his dynamic sound, fans can definitely see how much this artist has grown through the years.

“[We found] that type of conflicting emotions there, but those are the type of trips that help me open up,” the singer shared with Remezcla about creating his first reggaeton track “VETIVER Y AMARETTO.”

While he was always drawn to music growing up, his big break came at the onset of the global pandemic, finding inspiration in isolation. Earning a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist back in 2021, his rapid rise was met with overwhelmingly positive response from new fans and critics. Now, nothing can stop the man from soaring high.

“This album taught me that change is necessary,” Humble shared, explaining that one can't evolve if they don't allow life to allow them to love themselves.
