A New Sensation On Tour

Dropout Improv, one of the comedy scene's hottest rising acts from the Indie streaming platform - Dropout, is all set to head up the stage on tour. Known to take fun & games all serious, they've got one mission for every single night: have you rolling in laughs through the night. Hitting the road for a quick run of shows this summer, they're capping it off at The Wiltern on June 26. As the tour's final night, you can expect their best and grandest performance. Dropout says the live show will share "electric performances of short form improv games, comedy and a whole lot of shenanigans."

Dropout Improv is serious about its hilarious nights. Last January, their first shows came to be, selling out theaters across Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia. Performing right in front of thousands of people, it's a huge step above the usual intimate settings of improv nights. 

"The pace was a bit different, in that we received rolling laughter," Behpoornia shared in a feature by The Georgia Straight. Despite some adjustments here and there, waiting for more people to cool off before serving up their next moves, the comic says "But we played it the same as we do for the smaller venues: we play it for ourselves, for each other."

Each playing their strengths, these performers are a natural. With each taking various roles and personas, it all weaves into a cohesive night that's totally improvised. If you think audiences are the only ones surprised at these improv gigs, the comics themselves have each other rolling in unexpected twists and turns that's just plain hilarious.
