The Austin duo are hitting the road and taking their tour to The Wiltern on Friday 27th September 2024. The trek comes in celebration of their latest opus, Chronicles of a Diamond. Released on October 27, 2023 through ATO, the sophomore album is already a favorite amongst fans and critics alike! When Black Pumas’ self-titled debut landed back in 2019, the Austin duo set the industry on fire, almost as combustible and rapturous as their signature sound itself. As well as scoring a career total of a staggering seven Grammy Award nominations, singer/songwriter Eric Burton and guitarist/producer Adrian Quesada gained massive success as a live act. The duo are loved around the world for delivering an electric show that Eric Burton aptly refers to as “electric church.” Black Pumas’ colorful palette is a heavenly hybrid of soul and symphonic pop, wild journeys into jazz-funk and psychedelia, and starry-eyed ballads that feel as if they were dropped down from the cosmos.
