The veteran New York punk outfit Bayside is coming to LA! They’re bringing their THE WORSE THINGS THAN BEING ALIVE TOUR to the Wiltern on Wednesday 17th April 2024.
Bayside has been making waves in the rock space since the year 2000 and they’ve had an epic run! They’re joining forces with Finch and Armor for Sleep for this headlining tour. And super exciting news… They’ve released a band new single for the occasion. In true Bayside fashion, the track, "Castaway," is both fast and irresistibly catchy.
"I think 'Castaway' is one of the most exciting songs that we've written in 24 years," vocalist Anthony Raneri said. "We really wanted to keep the listener on their toes and on the edge of their seat. We hope that between the fast pace, odd timings and metaphors that as soon as it's over, you need to listen again."

Punk-rock vets Bayside are a force to be reckoned with. During an impressive 25 years in the industry, they’ve treated music enthusiasts to killer tracks, historic tours and epic festival appearances. Equipped with a strong melodic emo sound, these legends hit mainstream success in the mid-2000s with a truly impressive series of records for the Victory label.
Following a tragic van accident in 2005, the band rallied to release The Walking Wounded (2007), sparking a streak of increasingly successful LPs including none other than 2011's Killing Time and 2014's epic Cult, which hit number 24 on the Billboard 200!! Along the way, the Queens-native outfit expanded their sound with a number of acoustic releases, a live album, and a collection of eclectic covers. After dropping 2019's Interrobang album, Bayside wrapped up two decades together with 2020's Acoustic, Vol. 3. And now, they’re back and bigger than ever.
