The Wiltern is located right in the heart of Los Angeles and is one of the most iconic venues in the city for live music, experiences, and good ole’ west coast rock n roll. And we are making sure to bring that same energy here when Band of Horses and Iron & Wine hit the town this September. On Wednesday September 24th, catch the duo of folk rock dudes right here as they take on their 2025 Fall Tour (AKA their Family Reunion Tour) as it takes on stages all across America. The tour will hit eight stops - including Marymoor Park in Redmond, The Cuthbert over in Oregon, Mountain Winery up in Saratoga, The Sound in Del Mar, and of course - right here at The Wiltern in late September.
Get ready for those Autumn Town Leaves! Get ready for the Aftermath! Iron and Wine will take the stage first - and when the Indie Folk rockers hit the stage, everyone makes sure to run to the stage and listen closely. Iron and Wine was created by Sam Beam, and besides when he is going on tour - he actually just works solo. Born in South Carolina and originally a painter with an MFA, Beam had always been writing music but didn’t officially begin to record songs until his friend lent him a recorder during university. He began making demos with Band Of Horses around this time, and released his first album, The Creek Drank The Cradle, in 2002 - where he wrote, produced, and recorded the entire album by himself in his home studio. Driven by acoustics and lyrics that cut deep, the lo-fi inspired sound is similar to Elliot Smith’s sound, and his songs are absolutely a must see for his live shows.
Band Of Horses got their start back in 2004 over in Seattle and led by singer Ben Bridwell. Their indie and southern rock sound has captured the ears of fans all across the country, and their debut album - Everything All The Time - established the band as a major player in the genre with songs like The Funeral, where their sound featured reverberating guitars and gut wrenching vocals. They’ve won GRAMMYs, and have been met with countless praise from critics over their six album run. And now - with a mini tour on the way and new live albums coming out left and right, we’re so excited to see what’s next for the crew.
Like we said - you won’t want to miss this one y’all! Grab your passes today, and we’ll see you soon! Right here at The Wiltern!
