Us here at The Wiltern, located right in the heart of Los Angeles and a staple of the city, are so honored to welcome world-renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz to our stage on Monday, November 11th, for an unforgettable evening celebrating her newest and most personal work to date: the reimagined release of her groundbreaking book Women. Women: A Night With Annie Leibovitz 2025 is Annie’s exclusive speaking tour tied to the 25th anniversary edition of Women’s re:release — now a two-volume, slipcased collection featuring her original portraits alongside over 100 new photographs that span the last two decades. From luminaries like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Joan Baez to icons like Rihanna and Jane Goodall, Annie’s work continues to elevate and redefine how we see women in the world. Now, she brings her perspective, stories, and process to The Wiltern for a live audience of fans, artists, and changemakers alike. The evening will include a moderated talk, visual presentations from the new book, and a rare look into the ideas behind some of the most iconic images of our time. There will also be opportunities to hear from Annie directly during a Q&A segment. And folks - not everyone in the world is getting this once in a lifetime experience with the living legend. There are three shows planned across America to celebrate 25 years of the book - The Paramount in Brooklyn earlier this month, The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, and of course - right here at The Wiltern for all of our picture perfect momentary pleasure.
A living legend in the world of visual storytelling, Annie Leibovitz’s lens has captured everything from Rolling Stone covers to intimate moments with Queen Elizabeth. Her creative collaborations with Susan Sontag, and more recently, thought leaders like Gloria Steinem and Adichie, speak to a lifetime dedicated to documenting cultural history through portraiture. With work housed in the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress, Annie has been awarded the Wexner Prize, the International Center of Photography's Lifetime Achievement Award, and the distinction of being named a Living Legend by the Library of Congress.
This event is more than a book talk—it’s a conversation about representation, legacy, and the stories still left to tell. It’s a celebration of Annie and all the things photography can do to change the world! And like we said folks - tickets are on sale NOW,, and premium packages sold here also include a signed copy of Women. Don’t miss your chance to meet Annie live and in action right in our backyard, L.A.!. We’ll see you on November 11th!
