So - you all ready for the best night of the summer/? Us here at The WIltern are SO excited to party with you this September on Friday the 12th for Anamanaguchi’s, a part of the crew’s Buckwild Tour 2025. And we KNOW it’s going to be one of those once in a lifetime moments right here in the city. Anamanaguchi is on their final quest before meeting the big boss at the end of the game - and personally we’re just glad we’re along for the ride. The chiptune pop band is hitting many many stops all summer long on the tour - including in places like the Wonder Ballroom in Portland, Harlow’s in Sacramento, Summit in Denver, Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, The Orange Peel in North Carolina, and of course - right here at The Wiltern this September.

Anamanaguchi is the epitome of bands that can’t be put into any set genre. Formed in New York City in 2004 - the band takes the faces of the city quite literally when it comes to the genres they love to play. Switching between electro pop to indie rock to punk to chiptune, the band first hopped on the scene with their release of Power Supply in 2006 - quickly getting critical acclaim and finding homes for their music everywhere. And then - they were everywhere. They’ve worked with iconic franchises like Scott Pilgrim The Video Game and Rocket League, and have cemented themselves as the 8-bit rockers of our generation. And with their current tour coming across the country for all of us to enjoy everywhere - frankly, we’re just along for the ride.

Anamanaguchi is so popular because their music hits so many genres and parts of life - you’ve either interacted with it before without knowing it, or you’ve put it on trying to run back your favorite song of theirs. And no matter what you think of their music - you gotta respect the hustle, 100%. And you gotta see them live with us when they come to town!
