Alina Baraz rose to the spotlight in 2015 upon the release of a collaborative EP with the electronic producer Galimatias. The two collaborated on “Urban Flora” after discovering each other’s work online. The EP became an international success, giving the two artists positive praises and recognition from all over the world. It took the number 2 spot on the US Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart. The EP includes hit songs such as “Pretty Thoughts,” “Fantasy,” and “Make You Feel.”
More recently, Alina Baraz has been working on releasing independent music. Her album from 2020 “It Was Divine” further showcased her beautiful vocals and alluring persona. She featured several big R&B artists in the album including 6lack, Khalid, Nas and Smino. It successfully charted at number 43 on the US Billboard Chart.
